Each piece is a unique celebration of nature, captured through the art of lifecasting and transformed into a contemporary art piece.
Lifecasting is the art of creating precise molds directly from the human body using specialized materials. At Lone Star Artistic Works, we work across a broad range of creative applications — from artistic body sculptures and curvature studies to miniatures and hands studies. Every piece begins with a real person, and ends as something that lasts.
The process uses body-safe molding materials to capture exact impressions of the human form, which are then used to produce finished pieces in a variety of media. Our work spans four categories: abstract forms, curvature studies, hands series, and miniature series — each serving a different artistic or practical purpose, from gallery display to private collections.
Session Overview:
Upon arrival, you'll provide a valid ID for verification. The session begins with assessment and posing to determine the best shapes and positions for casting. We'll discuss which parts to cast, and you're welcome to ask questions or make suggestions.
Before casting begins, you'll shower using Hibiclens skin soap to remove any lotions or residues. Between each cast, you'll shower again to wash off casting residue before proceeding to the next piece.

What You'll Need:
Models are compensated for their time and contribution to the artistic process. We discuss rates individually based on session requirements. Additionally, models may choose to receive a finished cast in exchange for part of the session fee.
